Little Chauncey's First Day of Kindergarden

Today was a very exciting and emotionally draining day for me more than little Chauncey I am sure. I went with him for the first half of the day, then left for the second half. He was definantly comfortable and in his element at school. I was not.

Here are a few pictures I took as the first time Kindergarden parent! He hasn't gotten home yet for me to report how he thought his first day of school went. More later.

Aw, I know this can be a pretty hard day. Way to go being a brave mommy :) Chauncey looks like he was having a blast :) Hope he loves school - he's kinda stuck going every day for the rest of a long time. :)

So exciting isn't it. But all day long-that's hard huh. It will be so good for him. Do you like Oxford?. I loved it, there are still things I miss about that school that they don't do here in Utah. Who is his teacher?

Hi Laurie! His teacher is Mrs. Malek and I think she is a perfect fit for him and our family. She's so much like us! He will loveit, and so far I am very happy with everything, i AM SPENDING THE NEXT FEW WEEKS BEING IN THE CLASSROOM A LOT SO i WILL KNOW MORE SOON OF WHAT i THINK.
