After 5 months, little Chauncey decides to share the news

Chauncey's 7th Birthday Party!

So, I know its been a long while. I knew it would be. So, so many changes. Explanations are coming. But, I am repenting and going to do many posts this week to make up for it.

Here is the most recent event for the West Family. We had Chauncey's 7th Birthday Party on Saturday. It was a sports themed Party. The weather was terrible(which is so odd for Raleigh) so we played a new sporting event called an Octathalon. They had a fantastic time. 12-6 and 7 years olds. Need I say more?
It was all hysterical.

Holy Curls!

I just got Bella out of the bath and had her hair down. I have been keeping it up in twists all over the top. I hadn't just left it down and let it dry for many weeks. Look at it! I was pleasantly suprised at the mop she is fashioning!!

She has been forced to skip a lot of naps the past 3 weeks, here she is this afternoon at 4 pm!

Monkey joes andchuck e cheeses

We had 2 firsts this week. We checked out this place monkey joes where they have ginormous bouncer slides and things and we went to our local chuck e cheeses. Big Chauncey was home all day Thursday for monkey joes, then today the thompsons came with us to chuck e cheeses. Both were a success! Happy last day of track out today! I think we lived it up pretty well the last 3 weeks with a whole lot of fun!

Museum of life and science

We went to the museum this week. It's always so much fun when Frieda come! Michal Thompson and her gang came with us. They are our best friends here as you see them all over the blog! We had 2 sleepover just this week!

Moe's and DQ

Chauncey and I divided up and I went to walmart while he went across to moes to get a burrito. He pulls in and tells the boys he can't get a burrito because he didn't have his wallet. Little Chauncey from the back seat said, "don't worry dad, I've got it." he had his treasure chest in the car and gave dad money to buy a burrito. What a cute kid!

We also went to DQ to reward the kids for helping me clean the house for 2 hours today . They did an outstanding job and mostly endured to the end!

Pet store

We also visited a pet store where they had tons of puppies and you could just pick one and they would put you in a room where you can play with the puppy! They were so so cute!

Our trip to DC to visit Christina

On a whim I decided to take the kids to visit Christina and co in DC, a four hour drive. We are having so much fun! I love year round school!

Family Photo Shoot 2009

These are the uncropped, raw images from the photo shoot. It was by far the easiest family photo experience we have ever had! If you have a Portrait Innovations Studio near you, I would highly recommend giving them a try!

We went to Portrait Innovations yesterday to get a dreaded family photo taken. It was fantastic!! There were 2 people with us the entire shoot, one taking the pictures and the other making the kids happy and smiling. We didn't lift a finger! What a luxury! We are very pleased that it is over, and done, and love the results!
