The Boy's matching Quilts

I started making these quilts when I was 34 weeks pregnant. I don't know what I was thinking...a bad case of nesting I guess! Anyhow, I finished them in a couple of weeks(the top and back), and mailed them to Grandma Wilde to be quilted. Then she mailed them to Grandma West(Ruth) to be binded.

I think this ended up being such a sweet idea to have three generations of women in thier family to complete thier quilts. I lvoe how they turned out. I can't thank Ruth and Grandma LuAnne enough for thier generous and fantastic service of love.

Halloween Trick or Treating

This is how Jack ended his night, at 9 pm.
Our Pumpkins.

Clone Trooper Chauncey man.
Darth Vader, Jack Jack. Really scary huh?!

Our little USA Cheerleader Kate.
We had a great time Trick or Treating. The weather was warm and perfect, and three families came with us tick or treating down our street, then stayed after for hot chocolate and good company. It was perfect! I love halloween!

Halloween Pumpkin Carving

Bella did come, but this is her one and only picture.
Chauncey's cookie, or should I say icing? There is a cookie under there somewhere.

Jack's cookie.

We went to our Durrant's to carve our Pumpkins and eat yummy food and decoate cookies this year. Everyone had such an enjoyable evening. The kids of course loed the pumpkin mess, the adults(Liz especially) got really into the carving. By the ned of the nite, we had a clone trooper pumpkin, Yoda and lightsaber pumpkins.

We let the kids go for it with the decorating and icing too. All, in all, it was an evening of perfection. Yea of Halloween!

Patterson's Fruit Farm

Every year we venture out about 30 minutes Northeast of our house to this great apple farm. They have this place they call the Family Fun Fest where there are huge treehouses with slides all in the woods, along with other fun haystacks to play in, cornmazes and on and on. Its a great place to be on a Fall day in Cleveland! Here are some of my favorite pictures.

We went with Jeremy Wilde, his kids, his Mom Diane and his Sister Emily and her kids. Thanks guys, it was great!
