Kates Haircut

These pictures are of Kate's butcher job of a haircute by yours truely. I didn't realize that when you cut wet hair, it is shorter when it dries. I tried to do an A-Line type angled cut where it stacks in the back. I don't know how to fix it, except take her to a hair cutters. I am going to try to curl the back so it stacks better.

What do you think?

You are so funny...I'm just in awe that you were brave to cut her hair. From the profile pic it lools like you did a great job! I love when little girls have the short, clean, manicured hair!

cute! i can't believe you did it though! i tried to cut james's hair and that was nerve wracking enough. my girls are just gonna have long hair and love it! but i bet kate appreciates having shorter hair in the warmer weather.

Girls' hair doesn't grow all at the same length, so I cut it in order to even it all out. The back was way long, while all of the other hairl was just startig to get long. So she was kind of in a mullet phase.

I think it looks great. When little girls are young their hair is so hard until you can get all it all evened out and the baby hair grown out. You did a great job making her hair look nice and tidy!

It looks great. I actually love little girls with short, cute hair cuts. I spent 3 months dying to cut Gillian's hair. I was going to go for the A-line cut too, sloping down to match her "bangs" which were shorter than the rest of her hair at the time. I even got books from the Library. Tim was completely opposed to the idea however and in the end I just lost my courage to do it myself.
