The Birds and the Bees?

Today...

At dinner we were asking little Chauncey questions/updates on school. We asked him if there were any girls he liked. He said no, and even inserted that he doesn't like his teachers anymore either because they are girls. Daddy chimed in and told him that one day he will like girls, and will want to marry one of them someday. Chaunceys only response to all of this information was that he was going to marry Lincoln instead!

Jackson asked for a cookie after dinner, and I happily obliged. He thrn asked for the whole bag, and I told him how much it would hurt his tummy if he ate the whole bag. He reassured me that it wouldn't hurt his tummy, that only when there is a baby in his tummy will it ever hurt!

Daniel also tells me that he does not play with the girls at his school. He says they're not cool. He says he doesn't like them and that none of them can come to his house or his birthday party. I tell him that I'm a girl and I'm cool. He says, only you mommy, not the other girls. It must be the age because you know that Daniel and Megu were best buds out in Utah. It's pretty funny how at this age they separate themselves. Thanks for the post, it was funny!

I'm sure Lincoln would be fine with marrying Chauncey... Jeremy on the other hand... not so much! That is too funny!

Lincoln hit Gracie in the tummy with a ball yesterday and she immediately started crying and said, "Lincoln hurt my baby!" It's funny how they just assume they have one too!

Hey Chauncey!!!!!!
I found your blog link on Emily Black's blog and thought I would check it out! WOW, you have been busy since high school. It has been a long time since I have talked to you. Now that I know what you have been up to, if you send me your email address I will send you an invite to check out my blog! Your family is precious!
What is it you use to call me in high school? Char-face or something like that.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Mel,

This is Amanda (Weingartner) Gramm. We went to Columbine and played on the Comets together. Not sure if you remember me . . . I found the link to your blog on the facebook Comets group. You look great and your family is beautiful. My former boss's husband is/was going to dental school in Clevand. Maybe your husband knows him. His last name is Unger (don't remeber his first name). Anyways, good to see that you are doing well.
