Bellas first hairstyle

Today was my first attempt at doing bellas hair more than just a rubberband and clip. I must admit, I have been going through withdrawls since Jackson cut Kates hair!

McDonalds

Kate is a HUGE McDonalds fan! Everytime one is near her radar is up. With the boys in school and an awesome playplace, you can't beat $2.60 worth of fun. Who knew a hamburger happy meal was so affordable!

The things Kids say....

I asked Jackson if he wanted me to make lunch and his reply, "I am so hungry my tummy is about to fart."

This morning Chauncey asked me if I like building Forts and Jackson answered for me and told Chuancey that Mommy likes to sleep!

Last Sunday was a difficult day. Big Chauncey had been gone on his guy trip for a few days and Bella had been sick and whinny and needy for 3 days. I couldn't even find the 3 minutes I needed to put a skirt on to go to church. I told Jackson this and he said in a very concerned voice, " I will take Bella. If we don't go to church then Heavenly Father will think we forgot to go!"

Bella had Roseola

So today Bella developed a rash on her stomach and back. So, quite clearly according to a rash google search, she had Roseola.

This is the best picture I could get with my phone so you might not be able to see the rash. she kept crawling away. Chauncey was trying to tape something to her.

Three days of fever followed by 2 days of a rash. She is not contagious after 24 hours after the fever broke, so we can go to church tomorrow. I just hope no one we saw last week gets it!

Balls and Bella

She didn't have a fever this morning. She wasn't completely herself, but much improved over yesterday. I still think it's her central incisor? I call it her fang tooth. She has had her first one for weeks now and it's very hard where it should come in.

Bella sitting with Chauncey this afternoon.
As for the balls, they cut back all the brush by the tennis courts by the house, so we went over with a bag and collected them! I have been taking tennis lessons the past five weeksand I love it. So I took the kids to play this week and they loved it.

Bellas fever

She started a fever yesterday afternoon. It is 101 without medicine. She has no other symptoms of sickness at all.
Bella has never had so much as a runny nose before, our healthiest baby.
The only change in her life is that she just switched to whole milk. Could that be causing her to have a fever? She is the same this morning and she just fell asleep at 8:45 am.

Family night and liz's package

We did our family night lesson on the plan of salvation and little Chauncey did a phenomenal job reading different scriptures and Jackson let me whisper his scriptures in his ear to repeat. Kate sat with her arms folded reverently most of the lesson even though she probably didn't pay attention to a word of it!
We had a really fun suprise package that each of us are so excited about our gifts!

B Chauncey got Idaho spud bars, I got my very fav chewy sweettarts that I wanted to buy Saturday at the museum but had no money on Chauncey. Kate andbella got jelly bracelets and the boys got geauga lake(our very favorite place in Cleveland) snoopy guys.

That was such a thoughtful and unexpected gift! Thank you Liz and Josh and lily and Harrison! We love you guys!

The museum of life and science

We took a trip up to the museum of life and science today for a star wars exhibit. It turned out to be so crowded and not a lot about star wars and much more about special effects in the movies. It all would have been much more interesting if my children were tall enough to see over the crowds of people blocking thier way!

So we took a trip down the dinosaur trail

the barn

and petting zoo

, and finally to the butterfly house

and had a fantastic time anyways. Oh, and our little friend dyland thompson and his dad got to come too!
