Medical Mystery

I have a medical mystery someone needs to help me with! I am only 4 months pregnant this week and I can't take a deep breath. I feel very chlostrophobic and can't seem to get my lungs to expand. Its not my uterus, I am not even showing slightly yet. My uterus is still teeny, and not at my belly button, so it can't be that. I feel like I have asthma or something. I know nothing about this, but can someone lead me in the right diagnosis here and let me know if I can get help! I am going crazy!

Sounds like it's pretty normal, even that early:

(I think this will work if you highlight, copy, and paste)

Melanie,

are you having problems with sleeping or anything like that? my sister has REAL issues she has been dealing with for a while (3 years) and still doesn't have a diagnosis and she complains of not being able to sleep and feeling like she can breathe in fully or fill her lungs. She is having real issues right now with a flare up since having her baby three weeks ago. It is my sister Kathy, who used to be in our wymount ward, don't know if you remember her. Your issues may not be this serious but the lungs/breathing issues rang a bell so I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention. I could give you her email if you think this sounds like something worth investigating...

Debbie, I do remember her of course! She hasn't had any medical help? Is her mostly related to when she is pregnant? Yesher email would help. Thanks so much!

I know that with my last pregnancy (the little guy is 2 weeks old now!) I had many more and new pregnancy related symptoms that I never had with my girls. It could be that since you aren't showing at all that your uterus is actually putting more pressure on your lungs. Just a thought! I hope you find how to relieve it! It really scares me not being able to breath.

Not a medical opinion, but I have had a hard time breathing during this pregnancy, for the entire pregnancy, especially when I am laying or sitting down.
